BSE mutual fund processes record 81,000 orders


Mumbai, Mar 28 (IANS): BSE StAR MF, the premier stock exchange's mutual fund online distribution platform, on Monday said that it processed a record 81,000 orders worth Rs.270 crore on March 23.

"The platform received a record mutual fund orders worth Rs.1,048 crore on March 23, which is unmatched by any similar platform," the fund said in a statement here.

The fund processed a whopping 32.65 lakh orders worth Rs.43,000 crore from April 15 to March 28 in 2015-16.

"Ours is the only platform in the industry with multiple modes of funds and mutual fund unit settlement in demat and non-demat form, with switch over facility," the statement added.

To ease transactions, BSE has introduced many features for enabling payments through all modes, including cheques, SMS and e-mail-based order authentication, access to multiple modes of its mutual fund platform, overnight investment framework and digital and real-time registration on the platform.
