Micromax launches seven-inch 4G tablet


New Delhi, March 1 (IANS): Indian smartphone maker Micromax on Tuesday launched its first 4G tablet - Canvas Tab P702, with seven-inch HD IPS display and 3000mAh battery.

The tablet will be exclusively available on e-tail website Snapdeal starting from March 1, at a price of Rs.7,999, the company said in a statement. 

Shubhajit Sen, CMO, Micromax Informatics, said: "With the launch of Canvas Tab P702, we are bringing in a large screen 4G connected device which delivers superior features promising seamless multi-tasking and non-stop entertainment on-the go. "

"P702 is being launched with a vision to improve the lower penetration of the tablet form factor in India. As a leader in the category, we are committed to steer the category growth by introducing innovative products addressing the needs of the digital consumers.”
