Puttur, Feb 26: “Education is getting commercialized today. With it the educational institutes which should quench the thirst for knowledge have become the centers of pomp. Human values are breaking down among students. Uniform education can solve the problem,” opined young author and activist of human rights, Ismath Fajir.
He was speaking in a discussion programme on commercialization of education held at Aims first grade college, Kadaba recently. College principal Semira K A presided over the programme.
Journalist M Arif Kalkatta inaugurated the programme. Aims College honorary advisor Haji Rafik Master, lecturer Deepika, Beary Sangha organizer Mohammed Iqbal were present. Student Anwath Banu prayed. Mohammed Abhizir proposed vote of thanks. Ashiba conducted the programme.
