Udupi, Feb 25: E-Fitness along with Karnataka association of body builders under the aegis of IBBF of the taluk organised by Milind Salian, national judge and Jason Dias, entrepreneur will present Karnataka 2016 and Mr Udupi 2016 at the state level body building competition. Govardhan Bangera, district president of the association made the announcement at a press meet on Wednesday February 24.
The event will be conducted on Saturday February 27 at Shamili Hall, here.
There will be a senior level competition held in eight body weight categories namely 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85 and above 85. The first five winners of each category will be awarded a total of Rs 25,000. The first prize winner of every category will qualify for Mr Karnataka - 2016 title round. The winner will be awarded with cash of Rs 1 lac and a trophy. The runner up will be awarded Rs 40,000 in cash and trophy.
Men above 40 years of age can compete in the Masters Category which is further divided into three groups namely 40-50 years, 50-60 years and above 60 years. The first five winners of each category will be awarded a total of Rs 25,000. The winner will be award with Rs 25,000 cash and a trophy.
The competition for the physically challenged will be held in two weight categories namely below 60 kg and above 60 kg. The first five winners of each category will be awarded Rs 22,000. The title winner will get a cash prize of Rs 10,000. In the best poser competition the winner will receive Rs 10,000 cash.
Mr Udupi - 2016 district level body building competition will be held in the morning at the same venue. The first five winners of each category are eligible for Mr Karnataka 2016 state level body building competition. The first five winners of each group of Mr Udupi will receive certificates and the top three winners will receive gold, silver and bronze medals respectively. Mr Udupi 2016 will be awarded with a trophy and the runner up will be awarded with a trophy.
