Udupi, Oct 24: Locals were intrigued to witness a cow at Kodibettu near Hiriadka in Udupi district delivering a two headed calf with four eyes.
The cow named Jyothi delivered a healthy calf named Ganesha during its first delivery. The delivery of this calf coincided on the day of Navarathri Durgastami and has become a mystery to many a medical professions and locals.
Bhoja Magaveer, the owner of the cow and calf is well experienced in dairy farming. It is three days after the delivery and the calf is healthy but unable to sit as the head is heavier than the body.
The calf is being fed nearly one litre of milk twice through bottle.
The veterinary doctors have said that it is not possible to separate the head as there is only one brain for its two heads.
