Mangalore, Aug 2: S M Krishna, Governor of Maharashtra, will arrive in the city to inaugurate the swearing-in ceremony of the district chapter of Lions District 324 which will be held at TMA Pai Convention Centre Hall on Saturday August 4 at 4.30 pm, stated G Venkatesh district governor in the press note.
The Lions District 324 consists of the four revenue district of Karnataka, that is, Dakshina Kannada, Chikmagalur, Hassan and Kodagu, stated the press note.
About 2500 Lions members, office-bearers and higher officials are expected to be present in the function, he added.
Official swearing-in ceremony will be officiated by PS Premanathan, former governor and the directory will be released by Mohan Kamath who has been deployed as vice-district governor of the district, the press note stated.
