Udupi, Aug 2: A married man ended his life by hanging himself from the roof of his house at Mudubettu near Madhvanagar here, on Tuesday July 31.
The deceased has been identified as Kumar (32), a driver by profession. He was married to a woman from Katapady, 4 years ago. But they had no children yet.
Sources said that owing to this their marital relationship had worsened recently. Accordingly she had left to stay with her parents at Katapady few days ago. She had also sent the divorce papers to him. Depressed by all these problems Kumar decided to end his life.
A case has been registered at Malpe police station in this regard.
