Gopalakrishna Bombeyata Sangha holds puppet show in Coibatore

Kasargod, Oct 21: Gopalakrishna Yakshagana Bombeyata Sangha from Kasargod held a Puppet show at Coimbatore that amused the audience recently. The puppet show was held during Navarathri festival. K V Ramesh directed the Puppet show and documentary. Thirumalesh K V, Sudarshan K V, Chandrashekar V, Kumara Swamy and Balakrishna Acharya cooperated.


The audience appreciated the art. Kasargod residents Jayanthi Kamath, Dr Balakrishna Bhat and others congratulated the team of K V Ramesh who are struggling for the survival of the art.

The art lovers who watched the documentary assured their cooperation for the projects of Yakshagana Bombeyata Sangha. The audience who surrounded the artistes after the programme expressed their interest to learn the art if K V Ramesh and others are willing to train them.

Invitation to perform in America Programme committee executive president C R Krishna Kumar and secretary C R Suryanarayana assured that they will be arranging for the programmes in America. The Sangha has held more than three thousand presentations in and outside the country.
