Sullia, Oct 19: After getting information from their counterparts at Bengaluru that murder-accused in the case relating to the slaying of police sub-inspector (SI), Jagadish, of Doddaballapur town station, might be hiding at Subrahmanya, Subrahmanya police searched for them in lodges in the temple town and other areas on the night of Saturday.
The Bengaluru police had expressed suspicion that Madhu and Harish Babu, who have been accused of murdering the sub-inspector at Nelamangala, would have gone to Subrahmanya.
The police have provided details of physical appeparance and other details of the accused to lodges at Subrahmanya, with instruction to contact the police if they come across suspicious characters.
