Mangalore, Jul 30: The foundation stone for the office building of Central Board for Labour Education (CBWE) was laid by Oscar Fernandes, honorable minister of state for labour and employment here on Monday July 30.

Addressing the gathering the minister said "the labour force of India can broadly be divided into two sectors; organized and unorganized. The latter one has been deprived of the social security which has never been out of reach for the former."

Dr Ajeenkya D Patil, honorable chairman of CBWE said that every one should have a mission and dedication to achieve the goal. India should be secular for ever. The message of love and humanity should be spread, he added.

Quoting the words of Sri Saibaba he further said that humanity should be the only caste, love the only religion and heart should be the only language.

The balance among GDP, employment and decent work is the only need of the hour. Since 93% of the total labour force comes under the unorganized sector, the role played by the institutions like CBWE is very crucial, said NM Adyanthaya, member of Government Body International Labour Organization, on the occasion.

V Parameswaran director of CBWE, M Joseph, zonal director of South Zone of CBWE, PP Shetty, chairman of RAC of CBWE and KL Shetty, regional director of CBWE were present on the occasion.
