Udupi, Jul 29: H D Kumaraswamy's continuing as the chief minister of the state was necessary for the well-being of the state, said former cricketer and state JD(S) youthe wing general secretary Dodda Ganesh. He has recently begun a fresh innings in politics and had joined the JD(S).
He was speaking at the Kaup Legislative Assembly JD (S) meet held at Kaup Laxmi Janardan Hall on Sunday July 29. JD (S) is in essence a party of Karnataka. Hence, the workers of the party should feel proud about it, he opined.
Kaup Leeladhar Shetty, member of JD (S) state executive committee, presided over the function. Over 50 Congress and BJP activists joined JD (S) on this occasion.
JD (S) leaders Mattar Ratnakar Hegde, Natesh Gowda, Iqbal Ahmed, Farooq Umar, A K Suleiman, Louis Lobo, Cheriabba, Vasudev Rao, Gitanjali Suvarna, Sachin Shetty, Bipin Rai, Shrinath Salian, and many others were present on the dais.
