New Delhi, Oct 15 (IANS): It's school time for Ali Fazal. The actor, who turned 29 on Thursday, will be having a “big celebration” with his friends at his school's alumni meet in Dehradun. He says he is "excited".
While many may crib for working on their birthday, Ali doesn't seem to be one of them.
He said he feels blessed to work or travel on his birthday, and is glad that “it's again happening”.
“I'm going back to school after almost ten years now. It's going to be a big celebration with all my friends, who are coming from all over the world. So, we are celebrating that and it's my birthday. So I’m excited,” Ali told IANS over phone.
“Since last two-three years, I have been blessed to be working on my birthday or traveling and it is again happening the same thing,” added Ali, who is attending reunion of the Doon School.
The actor, who started his journey in Bollywood with a small role in “3 Idiots”, carved a place for himself with movies like “Bobby Jasoos”, “Fukrey” and “Khamoshiyan”. He even walked into international space with “Furious 7”.
Ali is satisfied at the pace at which his career in showbiz is movie, as he believes in taking things at “one day at a time”.
“I'm very happy. It's one day at a time and it has always been the same for me, especially for someone who is not from the industry. I think that is just the best way to go about it,” he said.
On the professional front, Ali will be next seen in web series by Yash Raj Films' “Band Baaja Baaraat”.
