Bahrain, Oct 7 (Emirates247): Tragedy struck a Bahraini family when its twin boys drowned at a swimming pool while they were playing with another child near their house in Gulf country.
The Arabic language daily 'Al Wasat' said the two children, Ali and Salman, sneaked out of the house to play with their friend before heading for the pool, located just behind their home.
After they jumped into the pool and started to scream, their friend rushed into the house and called for help, the paper said.
Their father and other family members plucked them out and tried to revive them but they died, it added.
“They were buried in Sahlan cemetery on Tuesday. A large number of their relatives and friends attended their funeral,” the paper said.
