One other website www.yakshagana.com hoisted by M Prabhakar Joshi, Yakshagana critic and litterateur is in the forefront among all other sites. Joshi is the director and the chief editor of the website while Panambur Vasudeva Aithala, an eminent Yakshagana personality has designed and published it.
Joshi said that those who are interested in Yakshagana, especially foreigners can now view and understand this ancient art form through this website. Efforts will be made to rejuvenate the site with more information, he added.
An attempt to make Yakshagana known world-wide is still at its beginning stage, though it is a popular ancient folk art of the region. While, most of the traditional arts of other states have its own status internationally, Yakshagana lovers too feel that Yakshagana should also be popularized abroad.
