Deputy commissioner Ponnuraj who later arrived on the spot said that the new system will be observed by the administration for two weeks and a final decision will be taken later. Since the weekly market at Santhekatte used cause traffic disruption to Sunday traffic, it was decided to shift it to Wednesday.
