Mangalore, Jul 3: A youth was reportedly assaulted at Pratap Sales Agencies on Azizuddin Road on Monday July 2 evening.

The victim has been identified as Charan (25), a resident of Pachanady. The incident took place around 4 pm. Sources said that two persons came to the shop on a bike and assaulted him with metal rod. Later Charan was admitted to a hospital in an unconscious state.

A case has been registered at Bunder police station.
