Kundapur, Jul 3: The transfer of Kundapur police sub-inspector (SI) Jayant has been cancelled, sources said.

Christian associations and other like-minded organizations had accused that SI Jayant had favoured Bajarang Dal leaders, while investigating the case of assault on Carmelite priest Fr Sylvester Pereira at Koteshwar on Jun 25. Hence, they demanded the transfer of Jayant.

Western Range IGP H S Satyanarayan Rao reportedly informed the Christian delegation which met him on Monday July 2 that, Kundapur SI has already been transferred.

However, sources confirmed that Sangh Parivar leaders were successful in canceling the transfer order of Jayant. Hence, he will continue as SI there until the next order.

    Some non South Kanarites entering in Dakshina Kannada(from Bhatkal border to Mangalore border, old South Kanara) we all should get united and fight against all these inhuman organisations.  These people want to spoil the peace and love what we have with each other since times immemorial in our coastal Karnataka.

     

    In this case we should fight to get one extra State for us for Coastal Karnataka and the name should be " Karavali State" or 'Karavali Rajya'. In coastal karnataka we had no problems of religion few years back and it is the poison spread by non coastal Karnatakans, we shd stop this before it brainwash our new generation. In coastal karnatka we had no problems with any religion even in our history now these non coastal Karnatakans spoiled the peace and love among us in the name of religion.
