His contribution to education:
He has been striving hard to impart quality education to the remote students of society. As a headmaster, he has been striving hard to provide quality education to the poor children in the area.
Compared to the neighbouring Kannada medium schools, this school gets the maximum no of students admitted at the beginning of the year due to its academic quality and personal attention.
Extra -curricular and co-curricular activities are conducted in the school for the overall development of children. As a result, children come out with flying colours in sports and literary events such as 'Pratibha Karanji' held at different levels.
Though the school is situated in a remote village, many of the children passed out from this school have excelled academically and have occupied respectable positions
in the society. There have been many success stories of the students who have moved far and wide.

When he took over as the headmaster, the school lacked facilities. He has managed to pool the resources with the help of good willed people. Rotary Club of Sunrise Mangalore has been supporting the children with books, uniform and other infrastructure facilities every year. With the help of Lion's Club, Shirthady, he has managed to build an overhead tank to provide clean drinking water for the children.
To provide personal attention to children, the management has appointed three honorary teachers with the help of the benefactors.
Recently with help of management, PTA and alumni were instrumental in putting up a new school building as a result children are able to study in a better environment.
The management and staff take utmost interest in providing nutritious mid-day meals to the children.
