Kalburgi, Sep 6: “Siddaramaiah becoming the chief minister itself is a bad luck for Karnataka state,” said former chief minister of Karnataka, B S Yeddyurappa.
Yeddyurappa was speaking to reporters in Kalburgi.
“If the state is witnessing the worst situation of draught in 40 years, Siddaramaiah is the main reason for that,” Yeddyurappa added.
“Though the situation is the worst ever in the state, the chief minister has not visited Hyderabad Karnataka so far. In fact he is happy shuttling between Mysuru and Bengaluru, ”he continued.
“I was compelled to go to the centre as a member of parliament. I will fight for the farmers of the state for the next two and half years. I will travel through the whole state during this time and will win the confidence of people. I will bring back BPJP to power. I will remain available for state politics always,” Yeddyurappa concluded.
