Kundapur, Jun 26: A seminar on the use of Kannada language in judiciary was inaugurated here by B A Sanadi, retired senior official of AIR Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion Sanadi observed that the survival of Kannada language would be ensured only if and when one pledges him/herself for its use and survival.
The seminar was jointly organized by Kannada Development Authority, Udupi district legal service society and Bar association, Kundapur and the department of Kannada and Culture. K N Phaneendra, Udupi district sessions judge presided over the function.
Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, member of Kannada Development Authority, ASN Hebbar ex-president of the district Kannada Sahitya Parishat, U S Shenoy, editor of Kundaprabha, S H Shetty, Bar association president of Kundapur were also present on the occasion.
