Mangalore, Jun 21: A case has been filed by Yashodhara Pais (30), a resident of Pinto lane, near Karangalpady here, against her husband Anil Mervyn Pais, for dowry harassment.
She has stated that her husband abused here physically as well as mentally to bring dowry from her parental. Complaint has been filed in the Kadri police station.
It was stated in the complaint that they were married a year ago and they have a child. Moreover, she has alleged that, her husband has begun to harass her, demanding more dowry as he had to repay the loan which he had borrowed by mortgaging her jewellery with a bank.
