Kolkata, Aug 21 (IANS): Mohun Bagan's Japanese midfielder Katsumi Yusa struck twice to help his team beat Bengal Napur Railway FC (BNR) 3-0 in a Calcutta Football League (CFL) premier division game here on Friday.
Yusa's Nigerian team-mate forward Dudu Omagbemi scored the other goal for Mohun Bagan.
With the win, Mohun Bagan are now third in the league table with two wins from four contests, whereas BNR are languishing at the bottom of the table with five loses and a draw from six outings.
After a barren first half, pressure mounted on Mohun Bagan to score. Yusa in the 68th minute found himself at the end of a cross and he placed it coolly in the net.
He played his part again in the 77th minute of the match, as his cross from the left was headed in by Dudu.
Yusa sealed the deal with another flash of brilliance, as his free-kick curved into the back of the net three minutes from the end of regulation time.
