St Vincent Ferrer Church holds programme for religious order

Mangaluru, Aug 7: In view of the year of 'Consecrated life', St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia organized a programme for all the religious of the parish on Tuesday August 4.




















The programme began with the eucharistic celebration at 5.30 pm. Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, vicar general of Mangalureu diocese was the main celebrant. Six priests con-celebrated the mass. Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu preached the homily.

After the mass there was a get-together at the jubilee hall.

Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu, Fr J B Crasta, dean of episcopal city varado, parish priest, Fr James D’souza, asst parish priest Fr Clifford Pinto, vice president of parish pastoral council Arun Raj and Molly Pinto, coordinator of the spiritual committee were present on the dais.

YCS members performed the prayer dance. Parish priest Fr James D’souza welcomed the gathering.

Msgr Denis Moras Prabhu was the chief guest. In his speech, narrated how priests and religious should involve themselves in the parish.

Fr J B crasta delivered a speech on the 'Role of the religious in the parish'.

Arun Raj conducted games while Molly Pinto delivered the vote of thanks.

Reeta Menezes, ward leader of the Ferrer ward convened the program.
