Panaji, Aug 5 (TOI): The Old Goa police on Tuesday arrested three youth, including a police constable attached to the Panaji police station, on charges of rape.
Constable Yogesh Khandeparkar, along with Manguesh Canconcar and Vikram Canconcar, were arrested for raping a 30-year-old woman from Merces last Wednesday. The trio allegedly took her to a location in Corlim and raped her there. While Old Goa police inspector Krishna Sinari confirmed the arrests - which were made on the basis of a complaint filed by the rape survivor last Friday—another senior cop said the arrested constable had been on regular duty at the Panaji court.
