Barcelona, July 30 (IANS): Spanish football giant Barcelona's talismanic forward Lionel Messi has cut short his holiday to come back and join the treble winners for their pre-season training.
His Argentine teammate Javier Mascherano has also done the same. The duo were supposed to return not before Monday after their Copa America duties but have instead chosen to join four days early, reports goal.com.
Even the Brazilian pair of Dani Alves and Neymar have returned to Camp Nou after enjoying an extended holiday following their Copa commitments.
The four South Americans were accompanied by German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen for Thursday's medical.
Coach Luis Enrique has now almost his full squad available except Chilean custodian Claudio Bravo, who is still away on holiday and will be joining his teammates on Monday.
