UAE-based Srikala Prabhu bags all-India 15th rank in CA exam

Mangaluru, Jul 19: Srikala Prabhu, a Mangalurean residing in the UAE, has successfully completed her chartered accountancy (CA) by bagging the all-India 15th rank in the final CA examination conducted in May 2015 by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.

She is the daughter of CA Mahesh Prabhu and Vandana Prabhu, hailing from Moodbidri, Mangaluru.

Srikala gave her examination from the Dubai, UAE centre and was a student of the Indian High School, Dubai, from where she completed her high school education.

Srikala speaking on her success said, "I feel humbled and would like to thank God for His blessings. The support that I have received from my parents, relatives and well-wishers has motivated me to work towards this result. It is only with hard work, determination and perseverance that this achievement has been possible."

The results of the CA exam were announced on July 16.

    I have known Srikala from last 4-5 years and I am not surprised. She is perfectionist who goes well deep into the subject and performs in exceptional manner.     Srikala you have made us feel proud. Doing CA in Dubai and having less practical exposure to audits and tax issues in India itself is a challenge. Normally any person doing CA always looks for advice, suggestions, clarifications, interpretation etc., which in Dubai is limited. By passing the exam and getting 15th Rank you have proved that any thing is possible if there is a willingness. Great job done.
