Doha, Jul 11: In the 2nd division final of the 21ST Gulf Incon Metabo Floodlit Cricket Tournament 2015, QVC easily defeated Force India by 45 runs.

At the prize distribution ceremony Adnan Mannai, managing director of Gulf Incon could not attend but Srinivasan Vaidyanathan, general manager presided over the function.

Prateek Yadav, business development manager, Metabo Middle East had specially flown from Dubai to grace the occasion. Sajjad Ahmed Khan, senior sales manager and Tuan Afaham Burah, Metabo field specialist completed the presentation party.

Put into bat QVC piled up 138 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 12 overs. Kanchana was not out on 21 runs off 8 deliveries with 2 sixes and a boundary. Jameel was not out on 18 runs of 8 deliveries with 2 sixes while Mushir was not out on 15 runs. There were a total of 21 runs extras gifted by Force India.

Fauzi and Dhanushka took a wicket each.

In reply Force India batsmen wilted under accurate bowling and good fielding of QVC and were all out for only 91 runs in 11.5 overs. Fazmi batted well scoring 30 runs with a six and 2 boundaries while Fauzi was the only other batsman to reach double figures scoring 11 runs.

Captain Kamran bowled well to claim 3 wickets giving away 4 runs in 5 deliveries.
Mushir and Bangera took 2 wickets each while Ibrahim, Sameer and Sultan took a wicket each.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of the quiz which was run over the duration of the tournament.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by supporters and well wishers. Over 300 prizes were given away to various players in the tournament.

The prize distribution ended with complimentary refreshments and a lucky draw for spectators.
