Belagavi, Jul 9 (DHNS) : Housing Minister M H Ambareesh has expressed displeasure to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for not being consulted during the appointment process for the post of director from Mandya district to the Apex Bank.
In a letter to Siddaramaiah, Ambareesh has stated that he had abided by the former’s choice in the appointment of president of Mandya District Cooperative Central Bank. “Then, you had assured me through Cooperation Minister that I will be consulted during the process of appointment of director to the Apex Bank. However, I have been ignored again. I am hurt that you too are a party to the development. Through this letter, I am expressing my displeasure before you.”
He has added that he has been discharging his duty both as housing minister and Mandya district in-charge minister. “However, I am sorry to state that expected cooperation is not coming from your side .I was also sidelined during appointments to boards and corporations from Mandya district. I have repeatedly been ignored when important decision related to Mandya district were taken”, he has said. It is said that he may consider quitting as minister after consulting a religious leader on Thursday.
