Mangaluru, Jul 3: Konkani drama enthusiasts are in for a treat as two dramas - 'Indira' and 'Bhooth Bonglo' are set to be staged on Sunday July 5 at Don Bosco hall here at 6.15 pm. Both the dramas presented by Kala Kutam are of one hour duration each.
The first drama titled ‘Indira’ is written and directed by John M Permannur. Eulalia D’Souza plays Indira’s role. Raymond D’Cunha is the narrator. Nikhita Jasmine Fernandes and Leslie Ferrao Permannur will act behind the scenes as shadow characters. The story is based on the life of Indira Gandhi, the former prime minister of India.
The second drama 'Bhooth Bonglo' is written by John M Permannur and directed by Martin R D'Souza Vamanjoor. The artistes are Navin Kulshekar Derebail, Alwyn Miranda Jeppu, Floyd D’Mello Cascia and Sunitha D’Souza Permannur. This drama belongs to the serious comedy genre, says the director.
For both the dramas music will be provided by Elden Mario D’souza. Chris electronics will do the lights and sounds and Arun D’Souza will do the stage setting. Harish is the makeup man. Leslie Ferrao is the convener.
The entry is free. Kala Kutam has welcomed all the Konkani drama lovers to witness the twin dramas.
