Mumbai, Jun 30: Director Subhash Kapoor expressed his joy at the fact that journalists were not getting into making films, especially ones like Vinod Kapri who recently released his debut venture "Miss Tanakpur Haazir ho". He isn't the first journalist to turn into a film director and the ones before haven;t done a half bad job either.

The director spoke to press persons at the screening of MTHH, where he said, “It’s a matter of pride for me that director Vinod Kapri was also a journalist just like me. Seeing a journalist becoming a filmmaker is a pleasing feeling for me.”

Subhash Kapoor had released 'Phas Gaya Re Obama' earlier. PGRO was a hilarious movie that brought to light some of the prevalent societal evils and was widely liked. His next movie is Guddu Rangeela about two brothers who make money by singing in a band at various functions. They are approached to be part of kidnapping a woman, who they soon realise is related to their arch enemy played by Ronit Roy. The trailer that has been released of the movie proves it to be quite hilarious.

Starring Arshad Warsi, Amit Sadh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Ronit Roy the movie is slated to release on the 3rd of July.
