Yami Gautam continues shooting despite cold stroke

Actress Yami Gautam ended up with a severe cold stroke while shooting for her next film with T-Series, but she continued shooting for the movie.

Due to the extreme weather conditions, the actress was not completely fine and was advised by the doctor to rest. Still, Yami went ahead and shot for the entire schedule, said a source.

She did not wish to stall the shooting and she was ready on set before anyone else the very next day as she wanted the schedule to move as planned.

"There was a major altitude difference at pangong lake accompanied by strong winds and snowfall. The entire crew had to have brandy to keep ourselves warm, but despite that I collapsed to cold stroke...,” said the actress.

“The song is called 'Yeh dil', which is a fun tune about freedom, love and the pursuit of magic. It was really fun tracking the song with Jubin Nautyal and Rocky Khanna -- the writers of the song,” the actress said in a statement.

“It was definitely a group effort as I needed to nail the recording right before getting on a plane to the US. But everything worked out great," she added.

The indie queen herself penned down a part of the song.
