June 20, (Mid-day): Shilpa Shetty, who is known for her fit bod, was offered to be a part of an event on International Yoga Day on June 21. However, if sources are to be believed, she refused the offer due to fee issues. Says a source, “A well-known media organisation was in talks with Shilpa and her team for an event which is to held to celebrate International Yoga Day. Since Shilpa practices yoga and is one of the fittest actresses, they considered her to be the perfect choice. Though initially she showed interest, the deal couldn’t work out due to financial issues.”

It is said that the actress demanded a really huge fee which the organisers could not afford. A source says, “The main issue was that it’s a charitable event. Hence, the organisers were expecting Shilpa to reduce her fee or do it free of cost. However, that didn’t happen and the deal fell through. The organisers may now complete the event with another celebrity or not involve one at all.”
