Mumbai, June 11 (IANS): The response to the trailer of "Brothers", which has received over a million YouTube views within a day of its release, has left filmmaker Karan Johar feeling overwhelmed.
The 43-year-old filmmaker took to micro-blogging website to thank people for viewing the trailer, which shows the “deadlier” side of Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra as brothers.
"Super fast 1 million views! Thank you for all the love.....@karanmalhotra21 's labour of love @akshaykumar @S1dharthM," Karan tweeted on Wednesday.
Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff, is an official Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood film "Warriors". “Brothers” is slated to release on August 14.

Anupam Kher to deliver motivational lecture in Kerala
Veteran actor Anupam Kher jetted off to Kerala on Thursday to deliver a motivational lecture for automobile manufacturer Mahindra's annual meet.
The 60-year-old actor and mentor took to micro-blogging website Twitter to share the news.
"On my way to Kovalam, Kerala for a motivational lecture for Mahindras," the actor tweeted.
Upon reaching his destination, he tweeted: "Kovalam, Kerala.:) #Peace #Serenity #MotivationalLecture."
The veteran, who is the author of self-help book "The Best Thing About You Is You!", will be staying for one day at Kovalam and will be travelling to San Francisco for giving another motivational lecture.

'ABCD 2' is pure art: Varun Dhawan
Actor Varun Dhawan considers his new film "ABCD 2" as "pure art".
The "Main Tera Hero" star, who was promoting Remo D'souza's directorial in Ahmedabad, took to micro-blogging website Twitter, where he shared a series of tweets about the film.
"Sometimes when actors promote films the real reason behind doing the film gets lost. For me #abcd2 is pure art we have tried to show," the 28-year-old tweeted on Wednesday.
The film, releasing on June 19, also features Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhudheva.
