Mumbai, June 11 (IANS): American supermodel Cindy Crawford, who is coming to Mumbai later this month to celebrate her 20-year association with luxury watch brand Omega, says she has fond memories of riding elephants when she last visited India over 15 years ago. Now, she can't wait to reconnect with the "wonderful country" once again.
The Omega brand ambassador will visit Mumbai to unveil the new Constellation 'Pluma’ Collection, a series that defines elegance.
Crawford, who was once regarded as the highest paid model by Forbes magazine, last visited India in 1998, and is excited for her return after years altogether.
“Coming to an Omega event like this is always like visiting family or old friends. I have particularly fond memories of riding elephants in India, and I look forward to reconnecting with this wonderful country.
"It's also a pleasure to introduce the new Constellation collection which holds a special place in my time with Omega,” the 49-year-old said in a statement.
Crawford will be joined by another international Omega brand ambassador - Abhishek Bachchan at an event here.
The brand's Constellation collection of watches, with the exclusive Co-Axial calibre 8520, has long been admired for its elegant yet understated design. The updated Constellation “Pluma” range promises state-of-the-industry mechanical movement and exquisite styling.
