Los Angeles, June 9 (IANS): Singer Kanye West reportedly admires reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner and the two have "gotten very close" as of late.

The "Stronger" hitmaker is very fond of Caitlyn, who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"(They) have gotten very close and trust each other implicitly, they've bonded over a lot in recent weeks. (He) admires (her and) the fact she stuck around so long in a truly awful environment," a source told OK! magazine.

The 38-year-old star is said to be getting tips from Caitlyn on how best to "stay sane" when surrounded by his wife Kim Kardashian West, her sister Kourtney Kardashian and Caitlyn's ex-wife Kris Jenner.

The insider added: "Kris, Kim, Kourtney and company breathing down your neck all day is anyone's nightmare, and Kanye has been milking Caitlyn for advice on how to stay sane.

"(She told him to) stick up for himself on a day-to-day basis."
