Kundapur, May 24: Jayalalitha has been sworn in as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, less than a fortnight after being cleared of corruption.
In this regard the followers and fans visited the Kollur Shree Mookambika Temple and offered special prayers to goddess Mookambika.
Prior to the court hearings of Jayalalitha, the MLAs and ministers of Tamil Nadu had visited Kollur Shree Mookambika Temple and offered Chandika Homa to clear Jayalalitha from all the corruption charges.
Late M G Ramachandran, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu had gifted a golden sword long time back and from that day devotees from Tamil Nadu visit Kollur Shree Mookambika Temple to seek the blessings of the goddess.
Tamilians have visited Talipparamba Shree Rajarajeshwari Temple in Kerala, Mysoor Chamundeshwari Temple and Kollur Shree Mookambika Temple for the favour in the recent weeks. Followers of Jayalalitha say that God has listened to their prayers and cleared Jayalalitha's name from the corruption charges.
