Mangaluru, May 20: Deputy commissioner (DC) A B Ibrahim inaugurated the new building of Excise constables and head constables association here at state government workers association building on Wednesday, May 20.
Speaking on the occasion, A B Ibrahim said, “Our district is ahead in many aspects, be it educational area or cultural field. Our district now has the biggest office in whole of state for Excise constables and head constables association. It is a matter of pride. When serving conditions are difficult problem arises. To solve those problems and to discuss on various issues, this office will be a forum. This office should not change into an enjoyment spot. This forum should be effectively utilized for the development of the excise constables. I congratulate and wish all the best”.
George Pinto, deputy commissioner DK said, “I congratulate all the office bearers and members of this association on the inauguration of the new building. Associations are very important. Only by association there will be a say in the system. Through this association, I hope all the members get benefits and their grievances are heard”.
S L Rajendra Prasad, Joint commissioner excise said, “There are some problems in the department which need to be addressed. As an official, I assure you to give full support under my limitations. Please inform us if there are any issues that need to be addressed. We will try our best to solve them. I congratulate all the members and office bearers on the inauguration of this new office”.
Sathis Kumar Kudroli, former president Excise constables and head constables association, Sadananda Shetty, president Shree Devi education institutes, A J Shetty, chairman A J group of institutes, Jayappa Lamani, president Excise constables and head constables association, Mahanthesh, joint commissioner excise Bengaluru, Prakash Chandra Nayak, Bheemappa and others were present on the occasion.
