Bengaluru, May 18: The anxiously-awaited second PU results are out, and it is a happy news for the coastal districts.
The results were announced here on Monday May 18 by PU board director Sushma Godbole.
Dakshina Kannada has top the state with a pass percentage of 93.09, while Udupi stands second with 92.32 percent. Uttara Kannada is at the third spot with 81.19 percent.
Gadag is at the bottom of the list with 51.02 percent.
This time too, girls have outshone the boys with a pass percentage of 68.24 percent, as against 58.09% among boys.
As many as 47 colleges in the state have got zero pass percentage, while 55 colleges have secured cent percent results.
The first rank in state in science stream has been secured by Gautami of MES College, Bengaluru, while Rashmita of Sharada Vidyalaya, Mangaluru, has topped the state in commerce. Netravati of Kottur, Ballari has bagged the first in arts.
