Kasargod: Student drowns in Chandragiri River

Kasargod, May 15: In a tragic incident which occurred here, a student was washed away by undercurrents in Chandragiri River. The student lost his life on the evening of Thursday May 14 when he had approached the river with some friends to swim in the river water.

Sanoop (15), residing near Kurumba Bhagawati temple in Nellikunnu met watery grave in this incident. He had gone to the river with friends, Hanif, Jahangir, and Riaz, residents of Market Road here, Although Jahangir and Riaz tried their best to save Sanoop from drowning, their efforts went waste, it is learnt.

The fire brigade personnel, policemen, and locals rushed to the spot thereafter but it was too late.

    Unbelievable even being with three friends such a tragic end. ....Kasargod people should a get natural swimming pool in Chandragigiri puszha with protective net and adjustable raised flat form in this river for any little child can learn and enjoy swimming and improve their health even with a name entry pass ticket and a life guard facility. Losing any life may be lasting one human history in human era ....do not think what they supplied to the world,thought what they could have given to this world if they were alive .... life is so precious than any sparkling diamond and gold in this world, it takes food but give foods to many and keeps ever existing good life style also....
