Bengaluru, Apr 21: Justice K L Manjunath, judge of Karnataka high court, who retired from service on Monday April 20, levelled serious allegations against his fellow judges. He said in his farewell address that conspiracy had been going on against him since the last four to five years. He even added that a serving judge of the Supreme Court and a judge of the state high court had been working against his interests.
The judge was speaking at the farewell function organized by Karnataka State Bar Council on Monday. 'I have been a victim of slander since the last four to five years. Senior members of judiciary plotted against me. In spite of being a judge, I failed to get justice till the end,' he rued.
High court Chief Justice, D H Waghela, president of Bar Council, P P Hegde, and judges of the high court were present at the function.
