Mangaluru, Mar 28: The convocation of the 9th batch of theology for the laity and religious was held at St Joseph’s Seminary, Jeppu on Saturday March 28.
In the presidential address, Bishop said, “It is a joy for me to be here to honour the students of theology. I am happy that you have achieved this divine treasure. Now-a-days children do not attend the catechism classes, and parents too do not guide the children to attend it. We know more about the technological world but our knowledge towards religion is very less. it is sad but a reality. It is a good that 55 students are receiving convocation certificate for theology. I wish more laity should benefit from the course in the coming years”.
