M'luru: New OPD block to open at Vinaya Hospital on Mar 29

Mangaluru, Mar 26: A new OPD block will be inaugurated at Vinaya Hospital here on Sunday March 29. This was disclosed at a press meet held in the city on March 26.

Dr Hanraj Alva, director of Vinaya Hospital said, "There has never been a package like cardiac, renal, senior citizen packages offered by corporative hospitals. Each patient will be examined by the physician and investigated accordingly to avoid needless investigation as each individual is different and 'life is not a package."

The new OPD building will be inaugurated by U T Khader, minister for health and family welfare, government of Karnataka, on March 29 morning at 10 am. The presidential address will be delivered by Dr Shantharam Shetty, pro vice chancellor of Nitte University. The guests of honour will be Naleen Kumar Kateel, member of parliament D K, J R Lobo MLA Mangaluru south, Jacintha Vijay Alfred, mayor MCC, Mahabal Marla, ex-mayor MCC, Ashok D K and Prakash Salian, corporator MCC."

Dr Ravish Tunga, director, Vinaya Hospital and Devdas Alva manager of Vinaya Hospital were present at the press meet.
