Frustrated at drunkard father's nuisance, children kill him

Mysuru, Mar 23: The children of a drunkard man, unable to bear with his antics, killed him. The incident occurred at Sanjeevini Nagara in Bilikere revenue division of Periyapatna taluk in the district. The deceased has been identified as Devarasayya (50), son of Boovaiah.

Devarasayya's children, Kendaganna (29), and Shivalinga (28) have been arrested relating to this murder.

A body had been found abandoned near Haranakatte pond in Halaganahalli village in the taluk on March 19. A local person named Irfan Pasha, who found the body that was packed in gunny bag, had filed complaint in police station.

The policemen here, who registered the case, found that the legs and some body parts of the deceased bore injury marks. After investigation, they had found that the body belonged to Devarasaiah. Upon incessant questioning, Devarasaiah's two sons confessed that they had killed their father, as they were frustrated at his drunken babbles.
