Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza visits Mangaluru-Africa mission

Dar E Salam, Mar 20: Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangaluru arrived in Tanzania on March 15 on a 10 day visit to the Mangalore-Africa Mission situated in
SAME Diocese.







On his arrival the Bishop visited St Joseph Boy’s Secondary Science High School. The students of the school accorded a warm welcome to the Bishop. They also presented a colourful cultural programme in honour of the Bishop.

The newly constructed school building will be inaugurated on Saturday, March 21. The Bishop is accompanied by two of his consulters Fr Vincent Monteiro and Fr Onil D’Souza.

The Bishop visited and participated in the prayer meeting held at Kalimani the sub-station of the mission centre. On that occasion the Bishop prayed over Thaddeya Paul who is confined to the wheel chair due to the fall he had from mango tree.

Fr Alwyn D’Souza, Superior of the mMission, Fr Ronald Pinto, head master of the school, Mama Lagua, second head mMaster, Fr Victor Machado, coordinator of social Work, Fr Hilary Lobo, the parish priest, Sr Edleburga and her team were present on the occasion.
