Beltangady, Mar 10: The police have arrested two persons, who have been accused of raping a minor girl. Sachin (23) and Mathew (24) from the taluk were arrested.

Assistant superintendent of police here, Rahul Kumar, and police circle inspector, Lingappa Poojary, had taken up investigation of this case.

The girl had been abducted in a car, before raping her. It is gathered that Sachin was produced in court and remanded to 15 days judicial custody. Mathew, in all probability, will be produced in court on Tuesday.
