Udupi, Mar 3: “State government has sanctioned Rs 250 crore grants for the second national constructional academy at Dodaballapur in 20 acres of land”, informed state minister for labour department, P T Parameshwar Naik.
He was addressing the press meet at Udupi DC's office here on Monday March 2.
He said, “Earlier, we had received complaint stating that there was a shortage of dispensary medicine but there is no shortage of dispensary medicines in the district. Department also submitted the proposal to the KPSC for the formation of the new post of assistant director for factories in Udupi. Government has also provided concession in CET fees for the children of labour class. Further, the government provides Rs 2,000 monthly allowance for them if they are pursuing their M Phil and PhD”.
“Government has sanctioned three ITI colleges for the Udupi district. They will be built at Yellooru, Kokkarne and Byndoor”, he further informed.
On the shortage of doctors, he also said that there was no shortage of doctors in Udupi district.
