Health camp, awareness held at Holy Family church Brahmavar

Udupi, Mar 2: Health Commission Holy family Church, Brahmavar, Catholic Sabha Brahmavar, Seva spirit Brahmavar, ICYM Brahmava and Mahesh Hospital Brahmavar jointly organized one day free health check up and awareness programme about diabetes, blood pressure, for parishioners of Holy Family Church on Sunday March 1 at church premises.

Fr. Antony Vaz, parish priest of Holy Family Church, Fr. Dominic Vegas, Dr. Rakesh Adiga of Mahesh Hospital, Dr. Sandeep Pai of Mahesh Hospital, Dr. Jyothi Shetty of Mahesh Hospital, Dr. Manoj DLima, Ravi Prakash Gonsalves, vice president, parish pastrol council, Josphine Banz, secretary of parish pastoral council, Stephen Prakash Lewis, president, Catholic Sabha, Santhosh Banz of Seva Spirit, Joyson banz Presidnet of ICYM were present during the inauguration function.

Dr. Rakesh Adiga in his address recalled his childhood days spent in the church campus. He also gave information on blood pressure and diabetes. He explained how can take measures before they go beyond limits and how one can control them.

Fr. Dominic blessed the inauguration.

Robert Lewis welcomed the gathering, Daina Dsouza gave vote of thanks, Stephen Lewis compered.

More than 100 parishioners took benefit from the camp.
