Mangaluru, Mar 2: Facebook and Whats App have taken more space in the wrong incidents happening in the lives of youth these days. One such development which started in the internet has ended in the police station.
The girl who hails from Madikeri studies at a medical college in Mulky. The boy is from a prestigious family in the area. He has finished his studies and is in the lookout for a job. Both the boy and girl met in the Facebook.
The chat went farther than expected. The friendship went to the extent of falling in love with each other. The family of the girl, upon knowing this warned her. They said her education would end if the love continued. She obliged and kept away herself from the boy. "Keep away from me" was her last message to the boy. That too via Facebook.
The boy took it seriously. He started visiting her college and kept demanding her to take him back. He even threatened that he would commit suicide. The girl approached her parents regarding this and as per their advise, went to Mulky police station to complain about the boy.
Mulky police summoned both the persons with their parents. The boy was asked to write an undertaking that he would not disturb the girl. Police also told them not to 'touch' Facebook again. All is not well for the boy. But this Facebook cinema has seen 'the end'.
