Mumbai, Feb 21: Anushka Sharma who awaits the release of her film NH10, says that since her life is mostly about her work, films affect her on a primal level. She added, "Playing different roles also affects you and a huge credit goes to 'PK' and 'Bombay Velvet'. For the kind of passion it developed inside me for cinema is great," She revealed that NH10 was a thriller about the horrors faced by two friends on a road trip and their faceoff with the evil face of reality.

Anushka who recently appeared on the show Savadhan India to promote her film explained that the show was chosen because it resonated the same sensibilities as her film NH10. “We found this particular show of Savdhaan India very interesting because of the characters shown and the real life incident that it is based on. It is basically about the ‘against all odds situations’ where you cannot see a proper way ahead of you. You feel like you don’t know what the truth is, but still you keep heading forward doing the right thing to find the truth out.” “And this was very interesting because our story is also like this one. NH10 is also related to the concept of no turning back and fighting the situation. Also I have watched a couple of episodes that have been aired previously and I could relate to it as a youngster" she said.

She was appreciative of the fact that the show probably made more of an impact on the psyche of its audiences as the written word is unable to do. Directed by Navdeep Singh, the movie is set to release on the 6th of March.
