Mangaluru, Feb 18: The body of a man who went missing two days ago was found at Someshwar beach here on Tuesday February 17.
The deceased, Naveen (35), a resident of Munnoor, had gone missing since February 16 afternoon.
It is said that on February 16 at around 3.30 pm, Naveen had called his brother Rajkiran on phone and asked him in a sad voice to look after his parents as he would not be around anymore. Attempts to contact him thereafter went futile as his phone was not reachable.
His other brother Prashanth and others searched for him and found his bike near Ullal Someshwar temple. He could not be found even till Tuesday evening. Later, his body was found on the seashore.
Police sources say that he committed suicide as he was dejected in life.
Naveen was a TV technician and was known to be proficient in his work. He had married one-and-a-half years ago and has a 15-day-old girl child. The naming ceremony of the baby was scheduled to be held on Thursday, February 19.
